Meet Gen Z!

This litter of five came to us from our Longview, MS TNR site, and while they might be a little reserved at first, they are absolutely ready for a home to call their own!

Bruh, Bro, and Rizz are the social Gen Zers of the group. Give them a few treats and some gentle pets, and they'll warm up to you faster than Gen Z can say, “Bet.” Vibe and Bet, our two girls, are a little more reserved. They're low-key still deciding whether humans pass the vibe check. They'll need a quieter home, a predictable daily routine, and someone willing to let them set the pace as they learn that people can be trusted.

These kittens didn't grow up knowing the comforts of a home. They slept on the ground wherever Mom decided was the safest spot for the day. They dodged traffic and learned to navigate the dangers of life as a community cat—weather, predators, cars, and everything else that comes with surviving outdoors.

OCC changed that for them.

Now these Gen Zers are ready for the next chapter. They may not be the kittens who immediately throw themselves into your lap, but give them patience, consistency, treats, and a little time, and you may discover just how special they are.

Sometimes the kittens who have experienced a little hardship are the ones who form the most meaningful bonds with the people who give them a chance. These five have already survived the hard part. Now they just need someone willing to help them learn what Home, Sweet Home feels like.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
