Cocoa - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Gainesville, Virginia

Meet Cocoa!

Say hello to Cocoa, an adorable little tortoiseshell kitten with gorgeous golden eyes and a beautiful mix of chocolate brown, black, and caramel coloring!

Cocoa is a 12-week-old female Domestic Shorthair weighing just 2.4 lbs! This tiny girl is still just a baby, with lots of growing, playing, and exploring ahead of her.

Tortoiseshell cats are known for their unique coloring and are often said to have a little extra personality, affectionately called "tortitude!" Every kitten is different, but Cocoa is sure to bring plenty of love and entertainment to her future family.

As a young kitten, Cocoa will need a family ready to provide plenty of playtime, enrichment, patience, and love as she grows into a happy, confident cat.

If you are interested in adopting Cocoa, please complete an application below. This is the first step, and applications must be approved before scheduling a meet and greet.

**Cocoa's adoption fee is $175.**

This fee does not include spaying. Her adopter will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract legally obligating them to have Cocoa spayed when she is old enough, typically around 4 months of age unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian.

**Once Cocoa has been spayed and proof of the procedure is provided to the rescue, the adopter will receive a $100 refund of the adoption fee.** This brings the final adoption fee to just $75 after the refund. The adopter is responsible for arranging and paying for the spay procedure.

Cocoa will receive age-appropriate veterinary care prior to adoption, including vaccinations, deworming, and other routine care appropriate for her age.

Paws Deep Animal Rescue is a nonprofit rescue. Adoption fees help cover veterinary care and allow us to continue helping animals in need.

This tiny tortie is ready to leave rescue life behind and find a family of her very own. Could Cocoa be the sweetest addition to your family?

Thank you for choosing adoption and helping us give deserving animals a second chance!
