Spit may have a funny name, but underneath that little bit of sass is a very sweet, affectionate kitten who loves attention!

Spit is a playful, energetic girl who enjoys chasing toys and practicing her hunting skills. She's quick and curious, and I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be quite the little hunter.

One of the funniest things about Spit is how determined she is to get attention. If she thinks I'm ignoring her, she'll actually start climbing up my leg to get closer to me! Once she's comfortable with someone, she loves being held, cuddled, and spending time nearby.

Spit can be shy when she first meets someone new, and she needs a little time to feel safe. She's also cautious around unfamiliar animals, which is how she got her name! She sometimes spits at other cats or dogs when they're first introduced, but once she gets used to them, she settles in just fine.

Spit was born outside among several feral cat families near my home. I gradually earned her trust, and as soon as I was able to pick her up, I brought her inside to help her get comfortable with people and prepare her for a forever home. She's become a very people-friendly little girl!

Spit gets along with both cats and dogs once she's had time to adjust. She'd do best with a patient family that will give her time to settle in, along with plenty of playtime, affection, and attention.

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family.
