Quincy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fort Worth, Texas

Quincy is an incredibly sweet, easygoing boy who loves people, cuddles, and making biscuits!

One of my favorite things about Quincy is how comfortable he is being held. I can cradle him on his back like a baby, and he'll happily relax in my arms and start making biscuits, sometimes right on my face! He's a wonderful lap cat who loves affection and wants to be close to his people.

Quincy is also remarkably friendly with new people. He doesn't seem to need much time to warm up and is perfectly happy accepting attention from someone he's just met. He's a calm, relaxed boy who enjoys snuggling, napping, and watching the birds and squirrels outside at the feeder.

It's hard to believe that this laid-back sweetheart was found running scared down a busy road late one night in early October. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought inside, where he quickly discovered how wonderful indoor life can be!

Quincy is curious about other cats, and I think he might enjoy having a feline friend after a proper introduction, although we haven't yet tested him with other cats.

One interesting thing about Quincy is that he doesn't seem to mind wearing a harness! With his curious nature and relaxed personality, he might even enjoy some safe, supervised outdoor adventures.

Quincy would love a home where he can get plenty of attention, spend time with his people, and enjoy a comfortable place to nap. He's such an affectionate, easygoing boy that it's hard not to fall in love with him.

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family.
