DESCRIPTION
Meet Monty, a 2-year-old orange charmer with a soft heart and an adorable personality.
Monty may have been a little shy when he first arrived, but it didn’t take long for his sweet side to shine through. These days, you’ll often find him loafed comfortably on the top shelf of his condo, ready to greet you with cute chirps and happy little rolls when you open the door. He loves attention and will head bunt into your hand, leaning in for pets all over.
Monty is curious and eager to be part of the action—he’ll happily hop down to come say hello and may even try to follow you out for more adventure! He’s easy to handle and allows himself to be picked up and returned without fuss.
With his affectionate nature and playful curiosity, Monty is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a little extra sunshine into his new home!
Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
