DESCRIPTION
It is with the jazziest pleasure that we introduce the man: Mr. Duke Silver! This Duke may not be making the ladies swoon with smooth, warm jazz tunes, but he will quickly win anyone over with his love and affection! Duke Silver came to us through one of our rescue partners after his owner passed away, and the rescue said this about him: "Duke Silver is a charming guy, ready to share affectionate headbutts and nonstop purrs. He even readily flops over to tempt you to scritch his belly (though we didn't test that particular trap today!) An overall lovely cat." We couldn’t agree more! So put on your copy of Memories of Now, crack open a whiskey and a book about large wooden ships, and add Duke Silver to your band today!
If you’d like to meet our available pets, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
