Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Fairfax, Virginia

LUCA

Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Fairfax, Virginia
May 7th
male, large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Meet Luca, a gentle, shy soul looking for a patient, quiet home. Luca has been nervous and unsure during his time in care, and he’s still learning how to feel comfortable around new people.

He tends to hang back at first and isn’t quite sure how to approach, but with calm voices, slow movements, and plenty of patience, he begins to show his sweet, curious side. He would thrive with someone who understands that building trust takes time and is willing to let Luca open up at his own pace.

If you have a soft spot for shy cats and enjoy earning the trust of a gentle soul, Luca may be the perfect match for you.

If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
