Jojo - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota
JOJO
Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Brookings, South Dakota
June 16th
female, small, adult
DESCRIPTION
Jojo is a gorgeous 3-year-old tortoiseshell with a shy smile and a whole lot of heart under that nervous first impression. She's spayed, fully up to date on her vet care, and a petite 5.6 pounds.
Don't let her reserved start fool you... Jojo just needs a little patience and the right bribe to come out of her shell. The secret key to her heart? A Churu treat. Seriously. Break one of those out and you'll see a whole different cat! Suddenly brave, curious, and ready to be your best friend.
Once she trusts you, Jojo is a total softie. She'll curl up nearby, purr gently, and remind you that the best relationships are the ones worth waiting for. She'd thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can warm up at her own pace....with plenty of Churus on hand, of course.
If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will love you on her own terms (and maybe for a treat or two), come meet Jojo today!
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
