French Silk - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota

French Silk is every bit as luxurious as her name suggests. This beautiful grey and white girl has a coat that's irresistibly soft, and she seems fully aware of just how fabulous she is. You'll often find her perched atop her favorite cat tree, quietly supervising the room and keeping an eye on all the action below. While she enjoys her role as an elegant observer, she's never too busy to accept a good ear scratch from an admirer. Bring out a feather wand, and French Silk can't resist joining in on the fun, showing off her playful side. Equal parts graceful, cozy, and charming, she's ready to add a touch of sweetness to her future home.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
