Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota

Old Spice Bear Glove is a brown tabby kitten with a big personality packed into one tiny, stripey package. This playful little guy has endless kitten energy and is always on the move — chasing toys, pouncing on anything that wiggles, and zooming through the house like he’s training for the Kitten Olympics.

He’s curious, spunky, and fully committed to turning every moment into playtime. Whether he’s wrestling with his kitten buddies, climbing into places he probably shouldn’t be, or launching surprise sneak attacks from behind furniture, Old Spice Bear Glove keeps life entertaining. After he’s finally worn himself out, he’s more than happy to curl up for a quick recharge before diving right back into his next adventure.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
