DESCRIPTION
Flashlight is a 1-year-old gray medium-hair gentleman with a single, very important mission: finding the warmest spot in your home and staring into the middle distance while he forgets what he went in there for. He's neutered, fully vetted, and operating on a single dim bulb that flickers with quiet dignity. Flashlight doesn't walk into a room so much as materialize there, looking mildly surprised to have arrived. He'll watch a dust mote float by with the deep contemplation of a philosopher, then immediately forget what he was thinking about and groom his paw.
He's a perfect gentleman: no drama, no chaos, just vibes. Spacey in the most endearing way (his turn signals are on but nobody's home, and we love that for him). A calm, low-key companion who won't demand much besides a warm lap or a sunbeam. He'd thrive anywhere that appreciates a sweet, gentle cat who occasionally forgets he's mid-yawn. Great for someone who works from home and needs a furry coworker who stares blankly at the wall with them during meetings.
Come meet Flashlight. He'll probably forget you're there, but he'll be very happy about it when he remembers. Adoption fee includes: one (1) cat, zero (0) thoughts, full warranty on purrs.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
