Earl Grey - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota
EARL GREY
Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Brookings, South Dakota
June 30th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Earl Grey is a distinguished 4-year-old gray gentleman 13.4 pounds of pure sweetness. He's blind and has healed from a past jaw injury, but you'd never know it from his gentle nature once he trusts you. He's a slow-burn kind of cat. He won't rush into friendship, but when he decides you're his person, that trust runs deep. That first purr you earn? It feels like a reward.
Best in a calm home with patient people. He's lived peacefully with calm kids and a calm dog before, so a mellow household could work...as long as everyone lets him warm up on his own time.
Earl Grey is neutered, fully up to date on medical care, and ready for his next chapter. He doesn't need pity...just patience. In return, you get a loyal, sweet companion who proves the best things are worth waiting for.
If you're looking for a cat with character and a heart that opens slowly but fully, come meet Earl Grey.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
