Aurora - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Beaverton, Oregon

Adoption Fee: $200

Meet Aurora!

This tabico girl has already given so much love to the world! Aurora was an incredible mama who nursed not only her own four babies, but two extra little ones too! Now that her mothering days are behind her, it’s finally Aurora’s turn to be someone’s baby!

Aurora gets along well with both kitties and puppies, though she needs a little time and patience to warm up to new furry family members. With a slow introduction and a little understanding, she’ll have the chance to settle in and feel right at home.

And cuddles? Oh, she’s a professional! Aurora loves being carried like a baby, curled up in your arms with her belly up. She’s truly the sweetest girl and deserves a family who will shower her with all the love she’s spent giving to everyone else.

She also has a short, slightly wonky tail that just adds to her unique charm! Why be ordinary when you can be this adorable?

Aurora is ready for her happily ever after! Could you be the one to give this wonderful girl the forever home she deserves? Her babies have had their mama. Now it’s time for mama to be loved, cherished, and spoiled forever!

***Please Note: We do not offer same-day adoptions. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair or two kittens, please indicate this on your application as preference is given to applicants seeking to adopt in pairs. We want adopters to thoughtfully consider the lifelong commitment of a pet. As a volunteer-run rescue, we cannot always process paperwork immediately after meet-and-greets. Most adoptions are finalized within 24-hours.

To help speed up the process, please email a walkthrough video of your home and a list of indoor plants/flowers to adoptioncoordinator@mariospaw.org after scheduling your meet-and-greet.

Our adoption process consists of:
- a submitted application and list of indoor plants/flowers
- in person meet-and-greet
- video walk through of the main areas of your home
- adoption link sent to your phone with our contract where you will pay the adoption fee and receive the medical records sent via email
