Miss Scarlet - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Beaverton, Oregon

Meet MissScarlet,
Part-Time Acrobat, Full-Time Lovebug! She’s always the first to greet you amongst her 4 siblings!
If you are looking for a tiny bundle of pure joy, Miss Scarlet is ready to fill your heart and home! This 2 month old totally black little explorer has two speeds: maximum zoomies and deep purr naps. Miss Scarlet’s favorite hobbies include chasing feather wands, executing flawless sideways kitty-hops, and helping you work by sitting directly on your laptop keyboard. Once Miss Scarlet burns off her kitten energy, she will crawl right up your chest to look you in the eyes and demand chin scratches. Miss Scarlet gets along beautifully with other cats / calm dogs & kids. She would love a home with plenty of toys and a family ready to play. Miss Scarlet is spayed dewormed, flee and parasite free, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for her loving forever home. Could it be you? If you’d like to express interest in adopting Miss Scarlet, please fill out an application at Mario’s Paw or PetFinder.

Adoption Fee: $250

***Please Note: We do not offer same-day adoptions. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair or two kittens, please indicate this on your application as preference is given to applicants seeking to adopt in pairs. Please also note that adoption fees are non-negotiable and we do not offer discounts.***

We want adopters to thoughtfully consider the lifelong commitment of a pet. As a volunteer-run rescue, we cannot always process paperwork immediately after meet-and-greets. Most adoptions are finalized within 24-hours.

To help speed up the process, please email a walkthrough video of your home and a list of indoor plants/flowers to adoptioncoordinator@mariospaw.org after scheduling your meet-and-greet.

Our adoption process consists of:
- a submitted application and list of indoor plants/flowers
- in person meet-and-greet
- video walk through of the main areas of your home
- adoption link sent to your phone with our contract where you will pay the adoption fee and receive the medical records sent via email
