Meet Pepper Jones — a handsome Maine Coon mix born in approximately early 2022, with lion-like fluff, giant paws, and the sweetest soul. Pepper has had a rough start in life, but you’d never know it from the way he loves. He is affectionate and fully ready to find the person or family he’s been waiting for.

Pepper is a professional biscuit-maker and would happily spend his days cuddled beside you, napping royally on his cat tree, or chasing his feather wand toy for hours at a time. He has an easygoing personality that makes him equally content playing or simply lounging nearby like the majestic king he is.

Pepper does have an eye condition that requires daily medication, but it is very easy to manage and does not slow him down one bit. He handles it like a champ.

He has done wonderfully with his foster’s toddler-aged children and would likely thrive with another cat given slow introductions. While he has not been dog tested, his calm and gentle nature suggests he could do well with gradual introductions to a mellow dog.

Pepper Jones has already survived the hard part. Now he just needs someone to give him the soft landing he deserves.
