DESCRIPTION
Meet Hobbs!
Hobbs is a 7 month-old (date of birth 10-1-2025) large mixed breed pup who was found as a stray with a severe injury to his jaw, for which he underwent emergency surgery and has recovered perfectly. Even after such a severe and traumatic injury he remains a very sweet and affectionate pup with a curious spirit. He loves to explore, gets along well with other dogs, and has never met a human of any age that doesn't love and he couldn’t win over.
He does great entertaining himself with chew toys. But, he also likes a big personal toy and will snuggle with them as well. Because of this he would be fine as the only dog in the home, though since he gets along great with other dogs he could also be an addition to a current pack. He would do better with a yard than an apartment. I would highly recommend giving him plenty of exercise.
He has been neutered, is current with all his vacines, is great on a leash, potty trained, and crate trained. Hobbs is extremely loving and would happily cuddle all day if you let him. With his gentle personality and sweet nature, he is sure to make a wonderful family dog.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
