HEATHCLIFF L - Domestic Long Hair Cat Available for Adoption in New York, New York

Heathcliff is a beautiful, sweet blue eyed boy who somehow ended up on the streets of the Bronx. He was rescued, fostered, and received medical treatment thanks to dedicated volunteers at Eastchester Bay Stray Cats.

Heathcliff is very friendly and loves getting attention and love. He now resides in the Yonkers Petsmart Adoption Center where our volunteers continue his care and are evaluating his behavior with other cats.

Heathcliff has been neutered; microchipped, tested negative for FIV & FELV; and is current on his vaccines. Please stop by to see him and if you fall in love with him, complete and submit an application to adopt him.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. Note: in the instance a kitten is still too young to spay/neuter at the time of adoption, we can suggest low cost neuter/spay options.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
