Cypress and Cedar are a bonded pair of brothers with big hearts—once they feel safe. They can be shy in new places and around new people at first, but give them a little time (and a calm, patient approach) and they warm up beautifully, showing off their sweet, loving personalities.

Cypress is an absolute sweetheart—the definition of a loving, loyal cat. After he settles in, he adores being close to his people and never misses a chance to tell you how much he loves you with soft meows and a gentle presence. Cuddles, chin scratches, and curling up beside you are his favorite things in the world. He’s also playful and enjoys toys, but what truly makes him happiest is simply being near you.

Cedar is the more independent brother, especially when he’s adjusting, but don’t let that fool you—he has plenty of love to give. He’s smart, curious, and can keep himself entertained for hours with toys and games. He even knows tricks, like “spin.” Once Cedar chooses to come over for affection (his favorite is tummy rubs), it’s the sweetest reminder of how much he trusts you.

Together, they balance each other beautifully. Whether they’re cuddling, playing, or keeping you company, Cypress and Cedar bring so much joy and warmth into a home—just with a little patience at the start while they get comfortable.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee.

We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
