Lion King, affectionately known as Bubba, was found on January 1st, huddled and frozen in front of a deli.

Bubba is a mellow, friendly, and deeply peaceful cat with an “old soul.” Although he’s still young, there’s something beautifully calm and grounded about him. He brings a quiet presence into a home—never demanding, always gentle.

His playful, youthful side comes out most around his younger foster sister, whom he absolutely adores. The two share a special bond, and it would be wonderful if they could find a home together. He enjoys playtime, but in a soft, respectful way—he’s never pushy or overwhelming.

Bubba loves his meals, but he’s incredibly polite and grateful about everything he receives. Whether it’s food, affection, or simply your company, he appreciates it all with a sweet and gentle demeanor.

He enjoys human companionship and will happily spend time near you, but he’s also perfectly comfortable entertaining himself and relaxing independently. Bubba is the kind of cat who brings warmth and peace into a home simply by being there.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed
