Russell the SilkyTerrier mix is about two years old and he weighs 15 pounds. This adorable little man has some definite opinions about how his life should go and who he wants to hang around. He is slow to warm up to new people but once he bonds to you he won't leave your side. In his foster home, Russell is loving and loyal and he always wants to sleep curled up beside his human caregivers. He is affectionate but not a lap dog, per se. Russell can be sensitive about being picked up so he needs his humans to understand that and respect his boundaries. Russell will do great in a quiet home with one or two adults who will be home most of the day to dote on him. He loves the other dogs in his foster home but he prefers not to live with kids or cats. His ideal home would be in the metro-Atlanta area and have a fully fenced yard. PS he says that he doesnt want to be crated, pleaseandthanks.
