Hello, my name is Scotty James.


I'm a sweet little Yorkie mix weighing just 12 pounds, and while life hasn't always been kind to me, I'm hoping my best days are still ahead.

I was surrendered by my owner to an overcrowded shelter and arrived in pretty rough shape. My skin was in bad condition, I'd lost a lot of my fur, and my eyes needed some extra care too. Thankfully, there were people who saw past all of that and gave me a chance. Every single day, I'm feeling a little stronger, a little healthier, and a little more hopeful.

Everyone who meets me says I'm the sweetest little gentleman. I love being close to people, enjoying quiet moments together, and if you happen to have a tasty snack, we'll probably become best friends pretty quickly! Mealtime is definitely one of my favorite parts of the day, and I'm always grateful for every delicious bite.

As a senior pup, I'm not looking for anything fancy. I dream about soft beds, gentle hands, cozy naps, and someone who will love me just as I am. I've been through enough uncertainty, and all I really want now is a family where I can finally feel safe, cherished, and at home.

My fur is slowly growing back, my skin is healing, and my eyes are getting the care they need. It may take a little more time for the outside to catch up with how beautiful I feel on the inside, but I'm getting there-and I'd love nothing more than to have someone by my side while I continue my journey.

Adoption fee is: $300

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
