Meet Mopsy!

Mopsy is a 5-year-old, 13-pound cream Shih Tzu with the sweetest heart and a story of incredible resilience.

Before coming to rescue, Mopsy spent her life in a breeder hoarding situation where she experienced severe neglect and had very little reason to trust the world around her. When she first arrived, she was completely shut down and terrified. But with patience, kindness, and the comfort of other dogs, her true personality has begun to shine-and it has been one of the most rewarding transformations to watch.

These days, Mopsy is discovering just how wonderful life can be. She's a sweet, gentle, and delightfully silly little girl who is learning to enjoy the simple things: cozy beds, tasty treats, and the safety of a loving home. Every day she grows a little braver, and every new milestone feels like a celebration.

Because of her past, Mopsy will need a home with another friendly, confident dog. Having canine companionship helps her feel safe and gives her the confidence to continue blossoming. She gets along well with other dogs and truly thrives with a furry friend by her side.

Mopsy is looking for a patient family who will let her continue to come out of her shell at her own pace. In return, you'll get to experience the joy of watching a once-forgotten little dog discover what it means to be loved. There is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a dog like Mopsy, and she's so ready for the happy ending she's always deserved.

Adoption fee is: $400

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
