Meet Gertrude, aka Gertie - and prepare to fall completely in love.

Gertie is the cutest little sweetheart you've ever seen. At 10 years old, this beautiful girl has already been through more than she ever should have. She came to us from BARC's euthanasia list, and when she arrived, her gorgeous soft brown-and-black coat was so badly matted that it had to be shaved down.
But underneath all those mats was the most precious, loving girl.

Gertie can be a little timid at first, so she just needs a little patience and time to feel safe. Once she knows she can trust you, though? She transforms into the BIGGEST cuddle bug and lover. She absolutely adores affection and would happily soak up all the love you're willing to give.

Now Gertie is ready for the second chance she deserves - a cozy home, a soft place to land, and someone who will show her that she is safe, cherished, and loved for good.

If you're looking for a gentle, sweet senior who will reward your patience with endless love and cuddles, Gertie may be your girl.

Adoption fee is:

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
