Meet Mia

Mia is a 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a sweet heart, gentle personality, and plenty of love left to give.

This little lady is the perfect reminder that senior dogs make some of the very best companions. Mia is kind, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with her people. She has a calm, easygoing nature and is happiest when she can simply be part of the family.

Mia does well with other dogs and enjoys the company of her canine friends. Based on her sweet demeanor, we think she would likely do well with respectful children, although proper introductions are always recommended.

At 12 years old, Mia has outgrown the puppy antics and is ready to enjoy the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a comfortable lap, leisurely walks, and a family that will love her as much as she will love them. She is the kind of dog who will be a loyal and devoted companion, always happy just to be near her favorite people.

Her adoption fee is $300.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
All age-appropriate vaccinations
Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)
Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
