Meet Gordo

Gordo is a 9-year-old Shih Tzu with a sweet personality, gentle manners, and a heart full of love.

This handsome little guy is proof that senior dogs make some of the very best companions. Gordo is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a leisurely stroll, and spending time with the people he loves. He has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful addition to a variety of homes.

Gordo does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. Based on his sweet temperament, we think he would likely do well with respectful children, although proper introductions are always recommended.

At 9 years old, Gordo has left the puppy antics behind and perfected the art of companionship. He is content to relax by your side, keep you company throughout the day, and remind you that sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones.

His adoption fee is $300.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
All age-appropriate vaccinations
Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)
Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
