Lady is on the hunt for her forever home. She came to us after we pulled her from the shelter. She was dumped in a field after having puppies, and a Good Samaritan was able to trap her! She went through the county where she completed her stray hold.
Since she’s still pretty new to our rescue, we don’t have a ton of information on her yet. She’s been with one of our amazing fosters and has been decompressing more every day. When she first got to her foster home, she was totally shut down. She walked with her tail between her legs and started shaking if you looked at her
Fast forward to 10 days later, Lady is slowly coming out of her shell! She is becoming more confident, wagging her tail, and taking treats very politely she has been following her foster humans around and loves laying in her doggie bed. We would expect for her to be very shy and timid with new people, but it’s clear that once she’s familiar with you, she will open up
Lady will do best in a quieter home where her family is home often. She is indifferent towards cats, and has been getting along with the smaller dogs in the home. She has not been around large dogs yet.
If you’re interested in meeting Lady and feel like you can give her the time, love, and patience she needs, please text 954-789-7850 to start the application process!
