Meet Romeo!!!

Romeo is 1 of the 3 dachshunds left from the hoarding case in search of his forever home! He’s come a long way since being with his foster, and he’s finally ready to find his people.

Working on potty, crate, and leash training.
Good with cats and dogs.
Unsure about small kids but he was around them at his hoarding house, so he should be okay.

Romeo didn’t have the easiest start to life. He’s 1 of the 6 total that we rescued from the hoarding house in Holiday at the end of August. He went into one of our foster homes and has been totally thriving ever since.

Romeo is a bundle of energy! Hes a very sweet boy who absolutely loves to snuggle and will lick you to death if you let him. He’s still working on his potty training and leash skills, but he’s making progress! Romeo doesn’t mind being on a leash he just isn’t quite ready for long walks yet.

Romeo does good with both dogs and cats. He is also VERY food motivated! He eats and drinks a little too enthusiastically, so he uses slow feeders to help him pace himself. One of his favorite things to do at his foster home is sit outside and watch the wild peacocks strut around

We’d expect Romeo to be a little shy and timid around new people and animals in a new environment, so he will need some patience and extra care. Once he’s settled in, we expect him to be an amazing addition to your family!
