She’s cute, but she WILL chew your blinds and doors if left unattended and not in her crate

WE DIGRESS...... this girl is about as close to perfect as it gets (minus the chewing of blinds and doors). She is dog and cat approved, and what makes her especially wonderful is how well she reads other animals. She knows when it’s time to play, when to settle down, and adjusts her energy to match her furry friends.

But her absolute favorite thing in the world? Her people. She is a true velcro dog who wants to be as close to you as physically possible. If you’re sitting on the couch, she’s beside you. If you’re moving around the house, she’s right behind you. And if there’s room on your lap... she’ll find a way.

She’s incredibly smart and eager to please, which has made training a breeze. She has mastered her leash training, sleeps peacefully through the night, and has never had a single accident in the house while in foster care. She can happily spend the day curled up on the couch with her humans or head out on an adventure! She really is the perfect mix of laid-back and ready to go.

She’s even discovered a new love: THE BEACH! She recently learned how to swim and decided that apparently she’s always been a beach dog at heart.

The one area where she’ll need some extra support is separation anxiety. She does not do well being left loose and unsupervised, so her adopters will need to be prepared to safely contain her when they leave. She can escape standard wire crates, so she requires a heavy-duty/escape-proof crate. Did we mention that she cannot be left out of the crate alone unless you want your blinds and doors destroyed, which her foster has proof of With patience, consistency, and continued training, we believe she can continue making progress in this area. Due to her separation anxiety, she will need someone home more often than not.

She would thrive with a family who wants a dog who is deeply bonded, incredibly affectionate, eager to learn, and always ready to be by their side. Whether your ideal day is lounging on the couch or exploring somewhere new, she’s happy as long as she gets to do it with her people.
