At no fault of her own, Chloe came to us a few weeks ago as an owner surrender. Her owner was going through very personal things and knew she could no longer give Chloe the proper care she needed anymore, so she chose to surrender her.

Chloe is a very sweet 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold who is looking for her forever family. Chloe is truly the perfect family dog. Unlike the typical high-energy Aussie, she is remarkably chill, gentle, and easygoing.

She loves being around her people, is incredibly affectionate, and is always happy to settle in for some couch cuddles or simply hang out nearby. She is wonderful with kids and does well with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for many different kinds of families.

She can be a little anxious and does have some separation anxiety, so she needs to be crated when left home alone for her safety. She is comfortable in her crate and would especially love a home where her people are around often.

Chloe is healthy and fully vetted, with her next boosters due in about three weeks. She’s also carrying roughly 10 extra pounds, so her new family will need to help her get back to a healthier weight with regular walks, playtime, and a mindful diet. We have a feeling she won’t complain about the extra walks as long as she gets to spend them with you!
