Max - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Orange, Virginia

MAX — ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Max is an 8-year-old male Lab who came to us with Marley and Mable after their previous owners moved and the three dogs were left behind.

Max is friendly but can be a little skittish and slower to warm up. He has lived with children and other dogs and has done well around most of the dogs he's encountered since arriving here. He has not lived with cats.

Like the girls, Max is trying to adjust to a completely unfamiliar environment. He loves food, tries to keep his kennel tidy and is learning the finer points of walking on a leash. Shelter life is a lot for him right now, and we're giving him some patience while he figures everything out.

Max is neutered, and we're currently working toward completing the remainder of his veterinary care.
