Hal - Hound Dog for Adoption in Orange, Virginia

**ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS-BEING TREATED FOR EHRLICHIA

Hal is an approximately 6-year-old Hound weighing about 72 pounds who came to us as a stray.

Hal arrived with plenty of evidence that he’d been spending some time outdoors, including ticks and some very dirty ears. Both have been treated, and now that he’s feeling better, his big goofy personality has had plenty of opportunity to show itself.

Hal is an energetic guy who enjoys getting out and moving, but for a big Hound, he really doesn’t walk badly on leash. He has done well around other dogs and showed very little interest in the cats when introduced to them.

Hal tested positive for Ehrlichia and has been treated. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and has received preventatives.
