This adorable Chihuahua puppy is the smallest of the bunch, but he certainly doesn’t know it. With his gorgeous fawn-and-blonde coat, expressive eyes, and confident attitude, Cricket has a way of stealing the spotlight wherever he goes. At just 10 weeks old and only a few pounds, he’s the definition of tiny but mighty.

Cricket came to us from the Central Valley alongside his siblings after a rough start to life as a stray puppy. Thankfully, those days are behind him. He’s now safe, healthy, loved, and ready to find a forever family of his very own.

While he may be little, Cricket approaches life with curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm. He loves exploring, playing, investigating every corner of his world, and making sure he doesn’t miss out on any of the action. He’s a social little guy who enjoys being part of the fun and isn’t afraid to make his presence known.

Like any young puppy, Cricket is still an infant and has no formal training. His future family should be prepared to invest the time, patience, and consistency needed for potty training, socialization, crate training, and teaching him all the skills he’ll need to grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog. The puppy stage is a lot of work, but it’s also one of the most rewarding journeys you’ll ever take.

We expect Cricket to stay small, likely around 8 pounds full grown, making him the perfect size for someone looking for a compact companion with a huge heart and an even bigger personality.

His ideal home will have a house with a secure yard, a flexible schedule, and adopters who understand the lifelong commitment of raising a puppy. He would also love a canine sibling to play with, learn from, and snuggle beside as he grows.
