Wirehaired Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Dottie! Dottie is approximately 6 years old, 10 lb currently, and she may have some wire haired dachshund in her mix! She would love to be adopted with her daughter Dash. She was part of a hoarding situation. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house training, crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids 10+, cats and other small dogs.

Her foster says, "I am fairly certain that Dottie's whole purpose in her life will be to make her human the happiest that she possibly can. From the wiggle in her nose, to her mohawk, all the way to the wiggle wag in her tail she aims to please. Once given time to decompress and come to you on her time she will think you are the best thing since Pup-a-ronis were invented. She is very playful with me and excitable just by saying her name. She is smart and learning routines. She is even the best cuddler EVER and shares the blankies while she makes sure you have a good night sleep. Given the opportunity she will be a fantastic companion. Lap dog and TV buddie if you are a willing participant."
