Luna - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Luna Luna is approximately 10 years old, 23 lbs and she is a mix. She was surrendered when her elderly person could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is doing great with house training, crate training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Her foster says, "This little lady is not quite ready for retirement. She enjoys time with doggy friends or by herself. She is easily entertained with a simple stick. Luna is ready for a home of her own and new adventures. She would love family picnics, a day at the beach, or some snuggle time while out camping. This sweet senior came into rescue because her owner could no longer care for her. Luna was well taken care of and loved. It broke their hearts to have to let her go, but we agreed to find her the best home. She is intelligent, potty trained, loves children, and is dog/cat friendly. Luna is so loving and resilient. We actually would have loved to keep her because she is such an ideal dog. We just did not want to deny her the best life in the last segment of her own life. She is so incredibly deserving and did not deserve the treatment she received."
