Meet our Wheaton Terriers
We're still getting to know these Wheaten Terrier puppies' individual personalities. At 12 weeks old, they're still very much babies, and their personalities and energy levels will continue to develop as they grow.
Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers are friendly, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and energetic dogs. They tend to form strong bonds with their people and enjoy being involved in family life. They are terriers, however, and can be confident, curious, energetic, and occasionally stubborn. They benefit from consistent training, structure, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment.
Wheatens are also known for their soft, continuously growing coats, which require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep them healthy and comfortable.
The right home
These puppies would do well with families who are ready to be actively involved in their lives and provide:
- Daily age-appropriate exercise, play, and enrichment
- Consistent, positive training and socialization
- Plenty of interaction and companionship
- Regular brushing and a commitment to professional grooming
- Patience with normal puppy behaviors like chewing, accidents, and lots of energy
- Structure and consistency as they grow into energetic adult dogs
They may not be the best fit for someone looking for a very low-energy dog or a puppy who will be content spending most of the day alone. These puppies will grow into active, affectionate, and intelligent companions. We're looking for adopters who are excited to continue their training and socialization and can give them the exercise, structure, grooming, and companionship they'll need throughout their lives.

Adoption Details
An adoption fee of [details coming soon] fully covers his essential medical start, including current vaccines, with future boosters provided by one of our rescue volunteers, as well as future alteration surgery and rabies vaccination at one of our partner veterinary clinics. Alternatively, we offer a $100 reimbursement if you prefer to use your own primary veterinarian for alteration surgery.
