Meet Agamemnon (Aggie)
Aggie is the sweetest Doberman puppy. He is incredibly loving, affectionate, social, and people-oriented. He loves people and other dogs and is happiest when he is actively engaged with his humans. He is very attached to his people and wants to be close to them, while also doing incredibly well with his crate training.
Aggie is a wonderful puppy, but he is also a Doberman Pinscher and a high-energy working breed. He requires an exceptionally committed and qualified adopter who understands that raising a Doberman is a significant, long-term responsibility.
Dobermans are intelligent, athletic, loyal, sensitive, and highly people-oriented dogs. They thrive when they have structure, consistent training, meaningful engagement, and a strong relationship with their people. Training cannot stop once Aggie reaches adulthood. He will need continued training, socialization, exercise, enrichment, and guidance throughout his life.
Aggie's medical history
Aggie was surrendered by his breeder at approximately 5 weeks old after sustaining injuries to his genitalia and leg. We are working closely with our veterinary team to monitor his health and are currently consulting regarding potential surgery.
He will be available for adoption once we have fully evaluated and treated him and are confident that he is ready for his next chapter. At this time, Aggie is functioning normally and receiving the care and veterinary attention he needs.
Ear cropping
Ear cropping is strictly prohibited. Aggie will not be adopted to anyone intending to crop his ears. Our rescue considers ear cropping to be mutilation and does not permit it. Unfortunately, his tail had already been docked by his breeder before he came into our care.
Adoption details
Aggie's adoption will require an exceptionally committed adopter who understands that his medical needs, puppyhood, and development will require continued time, training, and investment.
