Perfect Oliver - Wheaten Terrier and Standard Poodle Dog for Adoption in Burlington, North Carolina

Oliver is an absolutely gorgeous, wonderfully sweet, perfect boy who can’t wait to find his dream home! When this guy came into the pound everyone was shocked! He was so sweet, coat in great shape, happy, he’s a healthy young man. They were certain he’d go home immediately but sadly 3 days went by and no one came forward. Fortunately a fabulous foster home opened their doors to this sweetheart immediately, and off he went to a great foster where he’s been doing amazing as he gets ready for adoption!
Oliver, aka Oli, is only 12 months old- just a baby! His current weight is 47 lbs, with full maturity likely being around 50-55 lbs. max. He’s gone to the vets and did great! He’s now current on vaccines, deworming, preventative and he’s tested negative for heartworm! He’s now also been microchipped and neutered, so this boy is officially ready to find his forever home!
Oli settled into his foster home beautifully. He is a super social butterfly who is friendly to all, so every step along the way of this journey of his, he has had a big smile, a wagging tail, and is excited to make new friends! He absolutely loves other dogs and is happy to have a doggy friend or friends to play with! He’s fantastic with cats, completely relaxed around them. He’s been wonderful with every person he’s met regardless of age, and enjoys making new friends!! Oli is doing great on leash and is great with his house manners. He reliably goes potty outside and is an easy guy to love! He has medium energy, as he is still a youngster, so he likes to live a balanced life. Whether it’s running around playing with other pups, or going on hikes with his humans, etc, this boy does enjoy activity and exercise in his daily life. That said, he also loves his downtime where he can relax and snuggle up on the sofa with his favorite humans! This boy has a fantastic temperament and will make an unbelievably wonderful companion in his forever home! He’s everything a person could ever want in an adorable, scruffy little muppet with a heart of gold!
