Purrrfect Maddie and Carey - Domestic Short Hair and Bombay Cat for Adoption in Burlington, North Carolina

Introducing the sweetest, cutest little cuddlebugs you’ll ever meet, Maddie and Carey! These two girls both came into a super crowded shelter with their litters and were the friendliest, sweetest babies in the shelter! When they’d asked for help with kittens, we knew we had to save these two little kitty families and ensure they found a bright future! Thankfully an absolutely amazing foster family stepped up to take these babies and give them tons of love until they find their dream homes!
These girls have been to the vets and had their vaccines done, their deworming, they have tested negative for fiv/felv, and they have been given preventative and microchipped! They are healthy, amazing girls who can’t wait to start their next chapter!!
From the moment they joined their foster family, these girls have been so endlessly social, sweet, and loving that they steal everyone’s hearts who meet them! They have been raised with fantastic socialization with other cats, they have been raised with a dog who they are great with, and they are wonderful with children of all ages! In terms of care, these girls are wonderfully easy. They reliably use the litterbox and have fantastic house manners. They are very easy going, low maintenance kitties. From the perspective of temperament, they are soooo loving and such wonderful companion kitties. They both love to snuggle and be cuddled up with you on the sofa or in bed at night. If you’re on the computer they’ll sometimes crawl in your lap or sleep across your toes! They love a good snuggle, they’re great being carried around and are reliably friendly and social with every human and animal they meet! They love toys and are super cute to watch play, but they also love to relax and snooze in the sunlight that shines in through the window. It is not mandatory that they go together, but they would sure love to! They have bonded so closely in foster care that they’re frequently found curled up together, playing together, and sometimes (this is hilarious to watch) they’ll “make biscuits” (kneading their paws) on each other, purring up a storm! They are just absolutely the cutest!!
They’ll do great in a home with any combination of animals or humans. Their goal is to just enjoy a beautiful future with loving parents, and hopefully each other.
