Hazel prefers not to talk about her past she’s much more interested in her future. And honestly, we can get behind that.

This Vermont girl is the whole package! Hazel is 4 years old, crate trained, potty trained, and gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s still working on keeping all four feet on the floor when she’s excited, but at only 27 lbs, her jumping is more enthusiastic than intimidating.

On leash, Hazel can be a little spicy when she sees other dogs. Don’t let that fool you, though this girl truly loves dogs. She just prefers to meet them without being restricted by a leash.

Hazel is looking for a family who wants to do life with her. Someone who will take her hiking, let her enjoy some adventures, and then come home and happily crash on the couch with her.

She’s ready to leave her past where it belongs and start the next chapter with a family of her own.
