Meet Lilly!
After spending over a year beating the odds in a crowded Texas shelter, Lilly finally caught her freedom ride to Vermont, and this girl hasn’t missed a beat.
Lilly is a 2-year-old, 47 lb. Staffordshire Terrier mix who walked into her foster home and fit in almost instantly. Her foster family says she is one of those truly special dogs who leaves an impression on everyone she meets.
Lilly’s Highlights:
Crate trained
Knows basic obedience
Wonderful house manners
Accident-free with a consistent routine
Does beautifully with children
Respectful and playful with other dogs
Lives peacefully with cats
Even gentle with a tiny 10-week-old kitten!
Lilly is playful, affectionate, smart, and incredibly resilient. She is also a sharp, alert girl who takes her self-appointed neighborhood watch duties pretty seriously. Because of this, she would likely be happiest in a quiet suburban or rural home rather than a busy apartment setting where there are approximately 847 things per hour requiring her investigation.
After waiting more than a year for her chance, Lilly is finally safe. Now she’s ready for the best part: finding a family to call her own.
Could Lilly be the one you’ve been waiting for?
