Maine may have had a rough start in life, but this beautiful girl is ready for a future filled with love, happiness and a family of her very own!

Maine is an adorable 6 month old female Terrier/Cur mix with a gentle heart and a sweet, affectionate personality.

Her story began under heartbreaking circumstances. Maine’s mother was rescued from an animal cruelty situation after spending years chained outside. With nowhere safe to deliver her final litter, she gave birth to Maine and her siblings in a hole in the ground.

No puppy should have to enter the world that way, but Maine has proven that her beginning does not define her future.

Today, Maine is a happy, friendly girl who has so much love to give! She enjoys being around people and gets along wonderfully with other animals.
