Meet Barbara Jean, an absolutely precious 8 week old little girl with a big personality packed into a tiny puppy body.

Barbara Jean’s story didn’t start the way any puppy’s should. This sweet baby was dumped in a field and left behind. At only 8 weeks old, she was already depending on the kindness of strangers to give her a second chance.

Thankfully, she’s safe now and you’d never know from her personality that humans had already let her down.

Barbara Jean is a total cuddle bug. She’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and FUNNY! She has that silly puppy personality that keeps everyone laughing, followed by plenty of snuggles when she’s worn herself out.

She currently weighs about 12 lbs and is expected to be around 50 lbs full grown.

Barbara Jean’s beginning may have been in a field, but her story shouldn’t end there. She deserves to grow up knowing what it feels like to have a warm bed, a full belly, toys scattered everywhere, and a family who would never dream of leaving her behind.
