OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Frankie is a beautiful shepherd cross with an unforgettable look—one ear stands tall while the other flops over, giving her an expression thats every bit as charming as her personality. This affectionate, people-oriented girl loves spending time with her humans and is happiest when she has room to explore, a tennis ball to chase, and a job to do. Fetch is her favourite game, and shell happily play for as long as youll throw the ball.

Frankie also enjoys walks, learning new things, and being included in everyday life. Shes already mastered cues like sit and wait, walks well on leash, and is continuing to build her manners. Frankie thrives with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement, and shes eager to please the people she trusts.

Frankie has done well with men, women, older children, and other dogs. She generally ignores cats, although a running cat may trigger her instinct to chase. Because shes an active, intelligent dog, shell do best with a family that can provide regular exercise, companionship, and a securely fenced yard where she can safely enjoy the outdoors.
