DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Clifford! This gorgeous hound is ready for a loving home. His foster mom says he has excellent house manners. He is lovable (likes to sit on your lap), smart, energetic. Clifford likes to play in the yard with his doggie playmates as well as the neighborhood kids. He would do well with another dog. But if he gets plenty of attention, he would be fine as an only dog. Clifford will make a wonderful companion for any family. Please fill out an application today and come meet Pup Clifford!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
