DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there! I'm Baby Zydeco, and I'm looking for my forever family! I started my journey in a crowded Alabama shelter with my amazing mom, Roux, and my four siblings—Bleu, Beauregard, Shadaeux, and Bayou. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers swooped in to rescue us, and now it's my turn to find a place to call home. I've had the best time snuggling with my mama and tumbling around in one giant puppy pile with my brothers and sister, but I'm ready for my next adventure—one with a family all my own! Could that be you?
I'm everything you'd hope for in a puppy: sweet, friendly, playful, and always up for fun. I'm at the perfect age to learn all the important puppy things, like good manners, fun tricks, and how to be the very best companion. With a little patience, love, and training, I'll grow into an amazing lifelong best friend. If you're looking for a puppy who will fill your days with wagging tails, happy zoomies, wet nose kisses, and plenty of butt wiggles, I think we'd make the perfect match.
I can't wait to meet you... so what are you waiting for? Apply today and let's start our happily ever after!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
