Gidget is a 2 year old Shih-Tzu who arrived here about 10 days ago. She had just been spayed, so that's why she is wearing the cone. Since we have to wait 10-14 days to give her a bath or groom her she is a little scruffy, but still such a cutie how can you resist?

Gidget is a loving, people-oriented girl with a big personality! She’s an affectionate “in-your-face” cuddler who believes kisses are the best way to say hello. If you want a dog who will greet you like you’re her whole world, Gidget is it.

Special Notes: Enjoys chasing cats, so she’d do best in a cat-free home or with a very dog-savvy cat. Loves sleeping in bed with her people. Gidget would thrive with a family who enjoys snuggles and doesn’t mind a little extra love. She walks well on leash for adventures and settles nicely at home.

Gidget does have some skin issues that could be allergies but also could be from her previous environment. Because allergies are very common in her breed you should expect that she may have skin issues, at least seasonally, that may require medication.
