Wendell - Cocker Spaniel Dog for Adoption in Williamsburg, Virginia

Wendell is a senior Cocker Spaniel who arrived here after his owner passed away. He did live briefly with Gabby, another sweet Cocker Spaniel, also looking for a home. Although we are not requiring that they be adopted together, if someone did want to adopt them both that would be great.

Wendell is a chill guy who's got the basics down, he's house trained and walks nicely on a leash. Most days you'll find him living his best life on a comfy dog bed.

He's deaf, and his back legs shake sometimes, but none of that stops him from soaking up rubs. He loves them. He's not a huge fan of the car, but hell tolerate it for you.

We did bloodwork on him when he arrived and everything checked out great. He has occasional skin allergies and ear infections common with this breed that just need to be monitored.

If you want a low-key, affectionate buddy who's happy just being near you, Wendell is your guy.
