DESCRIPTION
Were delighted to introduce you all to Benji! (FYI-We know he needs grooming and he does have an appointment. Just think how cute he will be then!)
Benji is an 8-month old Shih Tzu mix, currently weighing in at 7 lbs. Hes very energetic and loves his toyshell play indoor plush-toy fetch as long as his family can toss that toy! He walks fine on a leash and enjoys being outside. He sleeps well in his crate all night and so far has had no accidents in the house.
Benji does bark a little at sudden noises or movement (such as when someone is outside a window or door), but not for long. He seems a little jealous of his canine foster brother, so he might be best as an only dog.
Benji is smart and very friendly with people. Hes treat-motivated and likely will learn commands quickly. He knows sit for example and just needs a little more practice to be consistent.
Benji currently is on medication for a minor cough and is otherwise healthy. Hes up-to-date on shots and will be neutered soon.
If youre interested in Benji, please submit an application at www.homesfurhounds.org. Benji is located in Williamsburg, VA.
