Gabby - Cocker Spaniel Dog for Adoption in Williamsburg, Virginia

Gabby is an adorable 8 1/2 yr old Cocker Spaniel who was adopted from us a couple of years ago, but sadly her new owner passed away, so she is now here looking for a home again. She did come in with Wendell, another Cocker Spaniel in the home. Although we would love it if someone wanted to adopt them together, we are not requiring they stay together. They did not grow up together and both dogs seem very happy to be with people and do not see overly bonded. But again, if someone wanted to adopt them together that would be great.

Gabby is all about her people and lives for belly rubs. She's house-trained and will head to the door when she needs to go out. She does have some mild incontinence (leaking) but is on medication for that which seems to work. She walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car, so she's up for errands or adventures.

She does have some skin allergy issues and takes medication as needed for that and occasional ear infections, but it doesn't slow her down. At home she's happiest just hanging out with her humans and working on a chew toy.
