Meet Sunshine!

Sunshine is a sweet, energetic 3-year-old special-needs Shih Tzu who is looking for a very special forever home. She weighs 9lbs. She takes daily medication to help manage her seizures. Although she still experiences seizures weekly, they are being managed, and her foster parent will be happy to share all the details and answer questions about her care.

Sunshine absolutely loves her people, her foster sisters, and every dog she meets! A home with a playful dog or two would be ideal for her. Because of her needs, her perfect home will be adult-only, with no children.

Sunshine would also love an active adopter who is willing to spend some time working with her on basic training. She has so much love and personality to give, and while she may need a little extra care and patience, she is absolutely worth the extra effort.

We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
